It goes without say that in this age of the internet, letters and post cards are something that are steadily becoming a rarity. And despite the fact that emails do save paper, I’ve always appreciated a good ol’ fashioned handwritten letter. Something about the entire letter writing/sending/receiving process makes it all seem so much more sincere and heartfelt.
The letter pictured above was written by artists Lenka Clayton and Michael Crowe and it is one of 467 letters that the pair hand wrote to the residents of the Irish Village of Cushendall in hopes that it would “prompt neighbourly discussion, spreading across the town, promoting community curiosity”.

And it not only promoted curiosity, the letters caused such a ruckus, it even wound up on BBC Newsline!
Absolutely amazing! Lenka and Michael eventually hope to write to everyone on this planet and are documenting it all on their fab blog, here.
Maybe if I find their contact info, us SuperForesters can write Michael and Lenka nice love-filled handwritten letters!
I hope you are having an incredibly beautiful and fun filled day, each and every one of you deserve nothing less.
Love always!
Carla
