Hello SuperForest!
Today I bring you the story of a riveting rescue, an action-packed tale of altruism complete with intrepid protagonists and tearful reunions!
No, this isn’t the plot line of next box office hit, its a story thats been headlining Australian news about a real life superhero who rescued Bibi, a Maltese-Shitzu mix, from drowning last August.

Blown off a pier by strong winds, Bibi fell into the water, getting pulled as far as 30 meters away while owner Sue Drummond watched.


Also on that pier was Raden Soemawinata, a twenty year old there for a ceremony to scatter his grandmother’s ashes into the bay. Even though he was decked out in dressy attire for the occasion, Soemawinata quickly undressed and jumped in after the dog.

Thanks to Mr. Soemawinata, Bibi was returned safely to the arms of his owner.

Personally, I think he deserves his own action figure.
