Last week, SuperForester Frida wrote us with her ace suggestion for this series: divvying up your week and showering those you love with love on a day specifically designated for them. Here it is:
“Everyday, choose someone who will be with you (almost) all day, and do everything to make that person happier. I use this system:
Mondays: Dad
Tuesdays: Mom
Wednesdays: Brother
Thursdays: Sister
Saturdays: Friends I’m going out with
Sundays: People I don’t know
Fridays are my favourite day of the week, so it’s for me.”

Another search engine that donates to charities is GoodSearch.com. GoodSearch donates something like one cent per search to the charity of your choice. Also, if you shop through the website they’ll donate to your charity.

As I don’t live near most of my close friends and family I’ve got a slight adaptation – taking the time to call one of them a day and challenging myself, in the course of that call (however long it takes!) to make them happy – turns out that actually the fact of making the call raises a smile:)
